With over a decade of experience in the industry, Dale Norris is a Brisbane-based freelance Production Manager, Operations Specialist, and Special Effects Supervisor. Dale has played a crucial role in a wide variety of events throughout Australia, excelling as a multi-disciplinary technician with a focus on event operations and production coordination.

Dale holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Production from the Queensland University of Technology, where he was honoured with the David Whitworth Award and recognised as a QUT Vice-Chancellor's Scholar.
In his current role at Skylighter Fireworks, Dale oversees the special effects components of major citywide events in Brisbane. His responsibilities encompass major event overlay and infrastructure integration, including sport presentations, New Year's Eve and Christmas activations, and theatrical installations for Queensland Theatre, Shake & Stir Theatre Co, Brisbane Powerhouse, and many more.
Dale is deeply committed to promoting crew welfare, optimising logistics and production management, and advancing sustainability within the entertainment industry.
